Robert Half is seeking an experienced Billing Specialist to join one of our client's skilled teams. In this role, you'll play a vital part in ensuring invoicing processes are accurate and efficient, contributing directly to the financial success of the company. Key Responsibilities: + Prepare and send accurate invoices to clients and customers for goods or services rendered. + Reconcile customer accounts and research discrepancies to ensure correct billing. + Enter, verify, and maintain billing information in accounting systems while ensuring compliance with company policies. + Communicate with clients and internal teams to address billing inquiries or disputes in a timely and professional manner. + Assist in accounts receivable collections and monitor aging reports to ensure on-time payments. + Generate and analyze reports related to billing operations and client accounts. + Assist with month-end and year-end closings, focusing on billing account reconciliation. Requirements + Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred (or equivalent work experience). + 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or a similar role. Experience in medical billing is a plus + Proficiency with invoicing software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or other ERP systems) and strong Microsoft Excel skills. Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems like Cerner or Epic is highly desirable + Certified Professional Biller (CPB) certification is a preferred credential for healthcare billing roles + Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management abilities, with a focus on attention to detail.
