Barren River Area Development District (BRADD)

Is a multi jurisdictional planning and development organization serving the ten county area. BRADD provides resources and services for aged, blind and disabled population through the Disability Resource Center. We are looking for a delivery driver to join our team!

(Part Time) DELIVERY DRIVER FOR SENIOR MEALS- Warren Co. 

A responsible, reliable, and professional driver who is willing to work hard and contribute to our company’s mission. The driver should be able to transport meals in company provided vehicle to clients homes within the district. They must maintain the following requirements.

Requirements:

• Possess valid drivers license
• Must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent
• One or more years of related work experience preferred.
• Pass required background checks and drug screenings.
• Follow all traffic rules/laws and company vehicle policy

Essential Duties:

• Involves transporting/delivering meals to senior center(s)/nutrition site(s), and to homebound participants within a county/counties each day. This duty will consist of:
• Pack home delivered meals in cooler(s)/carrier(s);
• Load van with meals;
• Ensure food safety and proper handling procedures throughout delivery process;
• Transport to senior center(s)/nutrition site(s);
• Unload meals at senior center(s)/nutrition site(s);
• Deliver meals to home delivered meal participants; and
• Clean coolers/carriers following deliveries.
